Physics (PHSA) is a lab based honours subject available in Day shift under the BACHELOR OF SCIENCE Course in our college.
The department of physics is more than fifty years old now and proud to have a long list of distinguished alumni. It possesses very well equipped laboratory with sufficient space. Both General and Honors degree courses are offered by the department. At present, there are six experienced and dedicated teachers in the department. The teachers are friendly and approachable to the students.The aim of the department is to teach the students sincerely with utmost care. Audio visual classes are arranged for the benefit of the students. The department of physics also arranges national level seminars/workshops occasionally to provide the students an exposure of the recent advancement of modern science and technology and to encourage them to think beyond the textbook.

We have well equipped laboratory. Students are given full freedom to play with different experiments to enrich their theoretical knowledge. The laboratory includes

5. Computer Laboratory
The department also has its own library for the benefit of the students. This library hasplenty of text books as well as many reference books of physics. Students are free to use the department library.
The department occasionally organizes workshops and seminars for the benefit of both the students and teachers.
